JET Returnees Function

• Sept 25^th Fuji Restaurant, Albany Hwy 6:30pm
• Budget $450
• Good opportunity to recruit new JETAAWA members.
• NR to organise food
• $5/$10 attendance fee to cover costs

Movie Nite

• Sept 19^th 12:15pm Luna Leederville
• “Summer Wars” a family friendly movie part of the Reel Anime movie festival
• $200 Budget, $5 members, $10 non-members
• NJ Newsletter promo
• DM Facebook post, RSVPs to DM
• NJ to promote at kaiWA

Treasurers Report

• $426 in bank
• Treasurer provided regional Conference budget breakdown

Careers Seminar

• Tentative 26^th Oct, ties in with CLAIR representatives from Tokyo visit
• Wk13 for UWA however has been same week every year.
• JL to contact speakers to talk

Website

• Jetaawa.com ongoing
• Members to continue posting photos, minutes etc
• Website maintenance allowance $150 per quarter

Magazine/Newsletter

• KLB has compiled
• $500 Budget
• D.M to do printing this month
• 10 bound colour copies, remaining budget b/w unbound

JETWit

• Jobs and JET related community
• Contact if interested

JET Regional Conference in PERTH 2010 !!

• 19^th-21^st November 2010
• 18^th Kaiwa for early arrivals
• 19^th official welcome dinner
• 20^th Intro/ presentations. Evening reception in Freo
• 21^st Seminar and wrap up BBQ

“GIVING BACK” is the theme for 2010

Members still to work on getting a guest speaker.
