Hi everyone. Just a quick update, particularly on our family Okonomiyaki BBQ!
The BBQ is on from 11:00 this Sunday 27 February 2011 at the Kings Park Synergy Parkland.
As always, we will have free okonomiyaki, free hot dogs, free drinks and entertainment including watermelon-bashing, origami, Aussie sports, stilt-walking and hopefully (possibly!) mochi pounding.
Attendance is free for everyone, including non-members who are interested in Japanese or Australian culture. Children are especially welcome!
Please RSVP ASAP and by Friday at the very latest.

Where are they now?
The new editor of the Hyogo Times says:
I’m the new editor of Hyogo Times, and I’d like to include “Where Are They Now?” profiles on our JET alumni when and where I can get them.
Is there a way you could put a request out to (or put me in touch with) those JETs of Hyogo that have moved on? The “Where Are They Now?” form is at our website, under the “About” heading:

The annual quiz night with JAPSSOC looks set for March 22, 23, 29 or 30 – watch this space! Please let us know if you are keen to attend (we had over 100 people last year) and one of those dates suits you better!

The AGM will likely be Friday 25 March at 43 Below, the location for kaiWA. Thanks to those who have nominated for the committee or RSVPd so far. Remember, all positions are open, so please keep nominating! In particular, we have not yet received nominations for:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Social Rep, Webmaster, Promo Rep or Employment Rep. I know that some people have informally expressed interest, but you need to let me know so I can put you down officially!
