(2) JOB OPPORTUNITY

We have also caught wind of a job opportunity at the Hyogo Centre:

An exciting part time opportunity has become available at Hyogo Cultural Centre. If you are interested, please clink on the link to the Seek website for more information.

http://www.seek.com.au/users/apply/index.ascx?Sequence=37&PageNumber=1&jobid=17012040

The position is available from April, so please send me your cover letter and CV ASAP! (to Melissa Luyke at hyogo@iinet.net.au)

(3) GATE SCREENING

Next, JETAAWA is cooperating in the screening of GATE: Atomic Flame, a documentary about Zen monks who took a flame kindled in the embers of the Hiroshima atomic bombing to the Trinity test site in the US to put it out, as a religious gesture to complete the circle of destruction and save humankind.

GATE is being screened in English on Tuesday 20 April and in Japanese on Wednesday 21 April.
Both nights are at St David’s Church Hall, 54 Simpson St, Ardross.
Doors open at 6:30 and screening is from 7. A small note donation is encouraged.
See the attached flyer for more details.

Elsewhere, kaiWA continues as usual April 8 and 22.

Cheers!

Nick John
